Our Mission and Guidelines 

The Avalon Board of Directors mission is to enhance the quality of life in our neighborhood through effective and proactive management of our resources and our common areas; reliable and consistent enforcement of our rules and covenants; and ethical and fiscally responsible solutions that maximize our property values and plan for the future.

 

Guidelines

1. 

Employ established management practices and sound business principles to make “best judgement” decisions in respect to enhancing our property values and managing the affairs of the Association.

2.

Take a fair and ethical approach to upholding our governing documents.

3.

 

Be good stewards in the administration of Association Funds. Conduct business with transparency, make available statements of receivables and expenses on a periodic basis. Make sound decisions keeping in mind the financial needs and obligations of the Association.

4.

 

Treat all issues and residents with respect. Work in a professional and objective manner to resolve issues. Communicate resolutions in a clear and timely manner. Keep in mind the interests of the association as a whole.

5.

Preserve and enhance property values by maintaining all common areas and entrances.

The HOA President’s main responsibilities are organized into four key areas: Leadership and Vision: Setting the course for the community and inspiring others to contribute positively. Decision Making and Conflict Resolution: Navigating complex issues and finding resolutions that align with community values.

The treasurer for HOA is to serve as the financial manager for the entire association. Is responsible for maintaining financial records, overseeing all association funds. The treasurer also creates financial statements and reports for the HOA board and the members.

The HOA secretary is responsible for keeping the official records of the board and association. But it’s much more than just clerical work. Community records are extremely valuable, and the person in charge of them holds critical information in their hands.

The HOA The function of n Arc’s committee is to contribute to the efficient operation of an organization. In most cases, a committee is concerned with the communication of information and with assisting the leadership in the decision-making process by providing needed information.
